I can't lie,
Steve Madden has a lot of cute shoes. However they
do have a long history of jocking other designers.. The one that stands out to me the most is the
Manolo Blahnik tims from back in the day. Jay-Z even dissed the brand in his song "Excuse Me Miss Again (remix)," when he said... "Fake Manolo boots straight from
Steve Madden" I also, recently saw a
Louboutin rip off... here it is...
But the story that's really making noise is their most recent
Balenciaga rip off. Beyonce wore these multicolored shoes off of
Balenciaga's Fall 2007 line (retail price $4,175):
Steve Madden is being sued for re-making the shoe. Their version? $99.95.

Well....ALOT of better brand labels replicate haute couture shoes...Bakers Shoe Store use to do their versions too for the rest of the masses....Wild Pair, Steve Madden, Guess....any "middle-class" or working class individuals bought their shoes from these stores and designers and so....it's really not unusual that these "brands" attempted to bring the HIGH FASHION styles to the rest of the masses.
